  • Lauren Swist Dog Training

Lauren Swist is a Dog Trainer who specializes in preparing therapy dogs for nursing home and hospital visits. An active volunteer in her community, Swist has devoted her free time to local soup kitchens, animal rescues/shelters and nonprofit organizations in her area.

  • Lauren Swist has always been an animal lover. A proud advocate for the Adopt, Don’t Shop campaign, Swist has volunteered at numerous animal rescues and shelters over the years. She encourages fellow animal lovers to consider adopting their next four-legged friend. In the future, she aspires to develop her own independent dog training program, specifically made with shelter dogs in mind. The Dog Trainer has provided her own pup with the necessary training to provide therapy services. Together, they have visited nursing homes and hospitals, spreading joy, cheer and lots of tail wags! In Swist’s experience both as a therapy dog trainer and just as someone who loves animals, the presence and playful energy of an animal can be extremely positive and therapeutic.

Outside of her independent dog training and volunteering, Lauren Swist works as a babysitter and nanny. A naturally caring individual, Swist enjoys being able to take care of people. As a nanny, she is both responsible and fun. She ensures that the children she cares for are safe and entertained. In the future, she aspires to work as a nurse. Swist is currently pursuing her professional and academic qualifications in nursing.
